Classifying Paste Papers

In every work one does, manytimes it's important to know the variations or styles. It helps to understand what one is doing and in this way your learning is enriched. This is also a good chance to know the history and beauty of art you are doing. It is a step on your formation, a way of culture.

Paste Papers have a lot of styles, each one was developed in specific periods of bookbinding history. The book "Decorated Book Papers" has a very comprehensive classification of these papers, and today I want to share with you a little resume of them, only indicating a branching scheme I've done during my lecture of the topic.
